Ability diversity is normal in any population. Yet individuals who function differently than their peers often experience themselves as less than adequate. However, it is often our "weaknesses" that give rise to our "strengths". Professional Counseling can assist individuals in developing and maintaining positive views of themselves and their situation.

People who live with skill sets that are not average have many opportunities for creating positive identities and meaningful lives. Wings of the Curve Counseling and Consulting, uses a strengths perspective with solution-focused methods to assist individuals to develop to their full potential using the abilities they have.

Psychotherapeutic services offered for children and adults include crisis resolution, positive identity development, self esteem maintenance, family therapy and play therapy. Life Coaching is available in my office and over the telephone for adults who wish to focuses on improving functioning for a more fulfilling life. Caregiver training and professional development workshops are also available.
